Literary translation: bibliography

“Listening is an act of community, which takes space, time, and silence. Reading is a means of listening.”
—Ursula K. Le Guin

Listening to the voices of a text, feeling its rhythms and coaxing out certain threads of meaning, and weaving them back together in the hope of carrying forward the spirit of the text — I am grateful that I can play a part in retelling someone’s story through translation.

I have a keen interest in various themes, genres, and forms — whether the style is dreamlike and unsettling, or heartfelt and inspiring. If you’d like to hear more about my work or discuss a potential project, please feel free to get in touch.
