Translation is a process of listening to the voices of the text, weighing the mesh of meanings that words can hold all at once, and reperforming them in another language in the hope of carrying forward the spirit of the text. I’m grateful that I can be part of retelling someone’s story.
I’m an omnivorous translator with an interest in various themes, genres, and forms—whether the style is dreamlike and unsettling, or heartfelt and inspiring. If you’d like to hear more about my work or discuss a potential project, please feel free to get in touch.
